Dive into the psychology of fear
The book has a lot of thought-provoking passages about human behavior in critical circumstances. The main topics include fear, personal freedom, and what the greater good really means. I think my favorite quote is this: “Fear is a powerful feeling. The longer it stays, the more it impairs a person’s ability to think logically. Let someone live in fear every day, all the time, and see how they make the worst decisions of their life. You may think they do whatever they do to stay alive. For a time, that is true, but in a long-term situation, people will do anything to end the fear, even if it means ending their lives.” Pretty deep, isn't it?

I loved this book
It had everything you need from a medical thriller. Reading the book while living in a pandemic was a bittersweet experience for me. I really enjoyed the character developments and all the twists the book had. The only complaint I have is that it was shorter than it could have been. The book had the potential of several hundred more pages of stories. The ending was great but I would love to read the sequel and read more details on the future of the characters.

Nice pandemic inspired story with an interesting perspective
This book on one hand takes you into the personal worlds of people living in a pandemic (of which we are all aware what that can mean now), while subtly asking you where to draw the line of personal freedom over the well-being of the greater population. A very interesting and enjoyable read!

Fantastic story for anyone into psychological thrillers or drama
It is the best short novel I've read in the last few years. The book has a bit of everything you need from a great thriller: suspense, action and unexpected twists. Really liked how the characters were developed throughout the story. Pretty impressive considering this is the first book of the author. Looking to new releases from Mahi Kohansal!

Gripping story & good writing
I enjoyed the gripping storyline and following the characters on their journey to build new relationships under extreme circumstances. Also, the overall message made me think about how many global decisions are justified and executed. A worthwhile read and I cannot wait for the next one!
